As part of Cyberpunk 2077 2.0, many systems have been redesigned and redesigned. The cyberware system is no exception. Part of the update was a new piece of chrome – a cellular adapter. What is a Cellular Adapter in Cyberpunk 2077?
The Cellular Adapter is a piece of cyberware that increases your armor, health, bandwidth, and at higher levels, a number of other stats. This is part of the integumentary system. There are five levels of cellular adapter, each providing better performance than the previous version.
The Layer 5 Cellular Adapter has the following characteristics:
- +146 armor
- +2.6 health
- +13 load capacity
- +1% explosion resistance
- +0.5% damage from technical weapons
- +0.5% to health item recharge speed.
- +0.5% to grenade reload speed.
Note that every Cellular Adapter from level 3 onwards has the same stat increase, with the exception of armor, health, and carrying capacity. Each cellular adapter takes up 30 cyberware resources, which is quite expensive. However, the Cell Adapter provides some of the best armor bonuses for the integumentary system, so it’s worth using for that purpose. If you want to implement this cyberware into a heavy cyberware build, you will need to invest some bonuses into reducing the overall cyberware power cost or increasing the maximum power.
Where to get a cellular adapter in Cyberpunk 2077
The Cellular Adapter in Cyberpunk 2077 will be sold on Ripperdocs as usual. Go to your local store and see if they sell it. Each ripperdoc will sell items at different levels, so find one that you’re happy with and that you can afford. A Level 5 Cellular Adapter costs over 80,000 eddies, while a cheaper one can be purchased for less than 20,000.
To install cyberware, you will need the Create Other perk, located here in the tech skill tree. Unlock it and you can use the cellular adapter. Be sure to only buy a piece of chrome after you unlock the perk.
