Are you annoyed by the stuck pop-up that says Fast Travel directly from the Mission Menu? No need to worry anymore as I came up with a solution to fix this.
Starfield has officially launched, and early adopters should be prepared for some initial glitches. One particular bug causing annoyance among players is encountered when commencing a mission in Starfield. A persistent pop-up message appears with the text: “Fast Travel Directly from Menu.”
Regrettably, this message stubbornly lingers on the screen, resisting even the most determined button presses. While it doesn’t disrupt gameplay, the constant appearance of this message can be quite vexing. Consequently, in the following sections, I’ll outline potential solutions to address this pesky Starfield bug.
Eliminating this exasperating message is a straightforward task. I’ll implement a method to replace it with a new message, effectively resolving the bug once the new message vanishes from the screen. This serves as the primary solution to tackle this issue.
Below, you’ll find a range of methods to employ for overriding the pop-up related to the Fast Traveling from the mission bug in Starfield:
Rise your CO2 Levels
This represents the most straightforward approach to trigger a new pop-up message. Simply move around your current location and deplete your oxygen levels, causing the CO2 levels to increase.
Once the CO2 level has risen, a message will appear: “Caution! CO2 levels are rising. Full levels will result in damage.” Subsequently, take a moment to relax and allow the pop-up to vanish. Once it has disappeared, you won’t be troubled by any lingering messages related to the fast travel bug in Starfield on your screen.
Confine yourself in a Chlorine vent
If the first solution didn’t work for some reason, you can try to get a warning pop-up by staying inside a Chlorine Vent located on Planet Europa. Stay there long enough until you get a warning message from the game. Once it disappears, the Starfield Fast Travel directly from the mission Menu pop-up will also disappear.
Take off your helmet
To perform this daring maneuver, simply take off your helmet in an environment where helmet usage is mandatory. This action will trigger a warning pop-up, effectively replacing the previous message concerning fast travel from the mission menu in Starfield.
Progress in the game
If none of the previously mentioned solutions prove effective, the last resort is to endure playing with the bothersome message until you make progress, causing it to be replaced by a new one.
