Green Light for the New Year’s Eve Parties in England as a rise for hospitalizations appears over the celebration. No new restrictions are going to be imposed by the government. On Christmas Day a record number 113628 COVID-19 cases were reported as they rush to get tested before the big day.

Sajid Javid Health Secretary said, “People should remain cautious” as going for the New Year’s celebrations. Also, he advised that people should go for a test before going for celebrations.
Mr. Javid has not ruled out the possibility of more restrictions implementation in January. As he said that the government might take further measures in January saying it “will see” about the cases and the data which suggest the future.
Moreover, he says that we are not going to hold people from celebrations, even the rise in the recent cases. It is shown in the data that there were 103558 cases reported on Boxing day, and in the last 24-hour new 98515 reported.
Since March 5 it is the highest percentage as the graph moves up to 27%. When the whole country was under strict lockdown.
Mr. Javid added: “Of course, we look at the data on a daily basis, that hasn’t changed over the Christmas period, but there will be no further measures before the New Year.
“Of course, people should remain cautious as we approach New Year’s celebrations, and you know, take a lateral flow test if that makes sense.
“Celebrate outside if you can, have some ventilation indoors if you can, please remain cautious.
“And when we get into the New Year, of course, we will see then whether we do need to take any further measures – but nothing more until then at least.”
