Deadly Rain Review – Remove It Immediately
We share our impressions of the horror shooter Deadly Rain from FireRing Studio.

The plot of Deadly Rain fits into a couple of lines. In the middle of the 20th century, the USSR began testing a certain gas that made people aggressive. It was planned to be used against “enemies of the people,” and the party leadership received the antidote. The main character is an “anti-regime fighter” who was exposed to poison in a remote village and is now fighting creatures generated by his fevered imagination.
The environment is gloomy and incredibly dark – you can literally see nothing except rare light sources and the silhouettes of opponents that are slowly approaching the protagonist. This makes you want to close the game in the first ten minutes – it becomes simply uncomfortable to play.
The gameplay doesn’t offer any surprises either. The hero searches the nearest houses and picks up weapons, breaks boxes takes out the ammunition that fell out of them, and finds keys that allow him to advance to new parts of the location. Enemies attack in waves and spawn everywhere, so you need to look around, because the monster may be right behind you. The variety of the enemies is not impressive: zombie soldiers, spiders, thugs, and some creepy creatures – nothing unusual. They are not particularly intelligent, they die quickly, and they are outnumbered.
The combat system became a glimmer of light in this dark (literally and figuratively) kingdom. The weapon feels heavy and arouses some interest in shooting. Meanwhile, the realization comes very quickly that Deadly Rain almost immediately exhausts its potential and simply cannot offer anything other than the monotonous shooting of stupid zombies.
However, you can find something good in the game. You can run it for ten to twenty minutes, take your breath away by shooting several dozen enemies, and switch to something better. In any case, there are many much more interesting shooters for the same money, so we advise you to think twice before shelling out your hard-earned money for this game.
